Snowy Timez!

Yes! Winter is finally here in Israel, and with it - SNOW!
This year I went a little overboard with excitement... here are the results.

On Being Sick

Let's be honest, nobody likes to be sick. Your nose is running, your'e nausious, stomach hurts, throat sore, head pounding and what not.

I myself as a major hypochonder, germophobic and generaly scared of being sick, HATE those times when i start feeling low and even worse, coming down with something.

But I have to admit it, being sick is an amazing time. First of all, it always happens when your pushing yourself too hard, or having a mental breakdown, or in a point in life you just can't go on as you are. That's what so amazing about the human body. He gives a fuck about you, and when he doesn't like the way he's being treated, he shuts down and demands your attention. 

Right now I'm recovering from an evil cold I got last week, and getting sick was a huge wake up call for me.
Not that I didn't know I was feeling like shit, but I was doing everything I could to get away from it. Clubbing almost everyday, not sleeping, not eating as good, and just running away from any alone time I might have. And to be frank? Getting that cold was a true blessing.
Finally I got some quality time with myself, I got to rest more than I could handle, and it really made an impact on me. I feel so much better now, having dealt with myself and seing that the monster is not so bad. I even made some new resolutions for myself such as taking better care of myself.. sleeping more, eating better, start what Ive been wanting to do forever now - Parkour! And of course, letting go of the past, try to get over my fears and move on to greater things.

Definitely happy I got this cold and was forced to slow down a bit.

Back from Berlin!

Halo little maniacs!!!
I'm finally back! well, I came back to Israel almost a month ago but I came back straight to my final exams :\
That sucked... but now that that's over, it's time for my comeback!!!
I have at least 5 videos to edit and upload and I'm working on a new single which is gonna be completely mind blowing!
Besides, I'm moving out of the dorms today to an apartment with the coolest people ever..
I"M SO EXCITED!
I can't wait to start editing my shit from Germany...I had so much fun! here's a sneak peek to what happened there, and I'm gonna post anothert post about the vegan food in Berlin next time. The rest of the pics will be on my facebook so make sure you like me :)

Gay Pride Parade In Tel-Aviv 2013!

Hey my little maniacs!

Check out this video I made at the gay parade in Tel Aviv!

This year was awesome! I haven't been to a gay parade in Tel Aviv in ages! seriously, the last time was at least 4-5 years ago. I go to parades in Jerusalem cause I live there and it's more comfortable for me, but the general vibe is so different because the parade in Jerusalem is smaller and less...happy. no music, very few half naked people and so many security. that's because Jerusalem has a lot of religious people living there and they are obviously against everything and among that their against gay rights and they really hate gays.
As I said in the video that once some people got stabbed in Jerusalem, that was done by extremely religious people. one parade was very tense and i myself got spitted on by one religious group of people, even though I'm heterosexual.
fuck that shit.
This year I went to the parade with Sofia, which is one of my best friends from way back..and some other friends we lost on the way...it was freakingly HOT! I was waiting to get to the parade just so i can strip to my bathing suit...sheesh.

Game of Thrones Season Finale WTF?!?!?!

Hello Maniacs!

If you haven't seen yet episode 9 of season 3 of GOT you're going to have spoilers here.
Go see it and come back.

Here's my first reaction the that episode as captured by my brother who knew all about what's coming.

But after relaxing I got to think more seriously about the effect that show has on our cinema and storytelling.

Game of Thrones.
What were you thinking?
No...seriously...what the hell was going through your mind?

I know the story is based on a book, and I assume what happened to Robb and Catelyn happened also in the book, but I think that show seriously breaks every rule in film making, cinema and storytelling.
Traditional cinema is all about creating a character the audience can relate to, have it go through stuff together with the audience and resolve the conflict he was presented with.
Asian cinema is also breaking all these rules and it's one of the reasons I have a problem with it, but if we're talking about GOT, I can honestly say I had never seen in all my 24 years of living such a thing.

When they killed Ned, I was horrified. He was such a major character in the story, and he was a stark, which we all got to know from the beginning, and got to relate to them the most. But now, they almost completely erased house of stark with that damned red wedding. You see what I mean? After seeing some video reaction I understood why people feel betrayed and why they say they don't want to watch this show anymore, because they really have been betrayed. No one does that. No one kills that many main characters from the side that the viewers share solidarity with. That's insane.
And that's why I love it so much.

Can't wait to the season finale!
Besides I hated Robb anyway.

Recording A New Song In The Big City!

Maniacs!

Good morning wherever you are:)
In a try to write more in my blog I'm writing this post from the bus!
on my phone..hope I don't get nauseous..

So a lot has been going on lately music-wise.
Yesterday I was working on recording a new song I wrote with the producer who recorded my vegan style, Assaf Halevi, and tomorrow we're filming a music video for the new summer hit song "Star Away", by Denis Kravtsov and me:)

it's all very exciting and I can't wait to get it going..
